It all started in the spring of 1987 as I sat waiting in a waiting room.  With my heart breaking and bored out of my mind, I went into a semiconscious, movie-set imagination about the design of the universe and wondered if this very room, this pee smelling, faces sagging, nightgown wearing, faded wall bearing, and wheelchair laden room was proof that there is another universe, a reality or an existence out there that we can’t see, a place where the epic battles of life are actually taking place right before our very eyes, a world that is so easily imagined and yet quickly forgotten in the heartbreak all around us.  3 hours later, I walked out the sliding glass doors thinking about what an epic adventure life is, and most of us, miss it.
